Everybody's geddin' ready for the weddin'!
We tried not to think about the wedding reception until the day of. I didn't want to spend our whole week getting ready for it. But wow did this family ever spring into action when the bugle sounded! Everywhere you looked, there was a flurry of activity. What is not shown here is the 300 crepes that Kristen was making in the kitchen or the incredible raising of the deck by Kevin. That's right, he raised it, straightened it and painted it. That act alone earned him my undying devotion forever. I think of him every single time I walk by that deck. And take a look at Gavin--trimming, weeding, mowing, hauling and minding the children. It's his vacation! What a guy.

About Me
- Jane Nelson
- There are no joys to compare with family. The experiences and feeling associated with family run so deep. Little moments are filled with meaning. They are the people who know us best and who we know best and who will be forever. This blog is a collection of the experiences that we can remember--the ones that happen on earth. I think our associations began long before and maybe the best is yet to be. Brigham Young says that our mortal experience is dreary compared to what is to come. I'm glad I can't see ahead because my life is anything but dreary. These people are my light and my joy.
