Our New Dog Millie

We recently acquired this homely dog. We found her on Craig's List and agreed to try her out for one week.

She panted all the time and had a strange habit of going into slow-motion every now and then. We were pretty sure we weren't going to keep her. But we decided to reserve judgement til the week was up.

Gradually, she weasled her way in to our hearts. We all started to like her.

Three weeks later, here she is....all settled in. Oh that Millie. We love her so.

oh, I really like her. She's just the sort of dog I would like. the homely underdog who just needs a friend. I'm glad she's staying.

I have a soft spot in my heart for dogs that just want a little love. She seems somewhat unpretentious.

About Me

My photo
There are no joys to compare with family. The experiences and feeling associated with family run so deep. Little moments are filled with meaning. They are the people who know us best and who we know best and who will be forever. This blog is a collection of the experiences that we can remember--the ones that happen on earth. I think our associations began long before and maybe the best is yet to be. Brigham Young says that our mortal experience is dreary compared to what is to come. I'm glad I can't see ahead because my life is anything but dreary. These people are my light and my joy.
